What do I want to share through my artworks?
I want to inspire discovery and self-acceptance, with the
possibilities and empowerment this can bring in our life.
Through my works I want to express the transformation which
happens inside each one of us and relates to the transformation we
can make happen in the world around us just by starting with
ourselves.
In my paintings I express usually a duality.
This duality can come
out through differences of colours -balancing tones, light and
darkness, shades; through surfaces, smooth and rough and glossy
or matt.
Shapes and colours are mixed together to create the dual forces –
these moving energies within us.
The duality has a double meaning.
On one side it expresses the relationship with ourselves, our
personal inner richness, the fact that we are composed by several
layers, experiences, feelings, the masculine and the feminine
within us.
All of this just like several colours and shapes.
On the other side the duality expresses our inner self in relation to
another human being.
It is by how we relate to ourselves that we define how we relate to
other humans.
It is by accepting ourselves in our diversity, our shades and shapes
that we get to know who we are and who we want to be.
By doing so we become more aware, more compassionate and we
learn to see diversity as an enriching element, as something
unifying instead of something that divides.
So by evoking inner transformation we scratch out conditioning
surfaces to let our inner light shine.
2020 is an example of transformation.
It has been the year of the
opening of a new Age, which we are living in now.
Where we are
still struggling to find our space in.
Between courage and fear, fate, hope and resignation.
Part of us have already started to looking inward, others are on the
way.
Through my art I want to inspire reflections.
Through my art I help people to connect with their inner self,
discover and accept their beauty and diversity.
